∫ The NPCs

While the catastrophe of the city split destroyed much of the old city, the residents of the top city remain resilient and still live in the city to this day. They are not very numerous, and therefore will not be easily found within the sprawling city. With the appearance of newcomers it is even more likely they will be sparse, though the memory of what happened in the past when visitors were avoided will inevitably lead to contact between the two.

The residents of the city are all unique, many hailing from different worlds where what is considered "normal" vastly differs from one universe to the next. With their choice to stay in the city they have become somewhat a part of it as well, all of them being completely in tune with the reactions the now-quiet city may have to certain things like conflict, despair, joyousness, and any other strong emotion that might trigger a response from the city.

These local residents are fiercely protective of one another; should you decide to raise a hand against one, you can be certain you will be facing the others in the end. This is a tightly knit group, and they will not take threats nor violence against each other lightly.

Of course, the top city isn't the only side of the city to harbor locals. The void beneath the top city contains residents as well; however, little is known about what they are up to and what they are like, as the top city residents have had no contact with them since the split. Due to the fact that the city is aware of their existence, the top city residents are also aware of their existence, but that is the extent of their knowledge.

Below is the list of known residents. Information about these residents will be added as the visitors themselves get to know them. Many residents will not have their official name listed, as they are not likely to freely give out information regarding themselves.
