Applications are currently closed.

∫ Applications

Applications are currently on application cycles. App cycles will be at the beginning of each month and once a month to start with. Reserves will open one week prior to applications, and applications will be open for one week. Reserves will close 48 hours before applications close.

There are no application or reserve challenges.

Please check the reserves page before applying.

PLEASE LINK TO YOUR APPLICATION. Place your application in a journal post and link it in your application comment. This makes it much easier to process.

If you are a new player, you are limited to ONE character this round.

Player Information
Player Name: Your name or handle
Player Journal: Required. You may app using a sock account, but we need a journal for an alternate method of contact.
Method of contact: AIM, MSN, Email, anything works. I just need a way besides your journal to contact you!
Previous Characters: If you are a current member, please list your characters here.


Character Information
Full Name: The character's full name.
Series: Your character's series. If original character, just put 'Original Character'..
Canon Point: The point you are taking them from in their canon.
Appearance/PB: Required for OCs or characters using PBs only. Just link an image of the character/PB for this.
Species: Primarily for OCs or animal characters. If your character is something other than human, state so here!


Character History
Previous RP Memories: You are allowed to bring in characters with previous RP memories. If you are doing so, please say so here, and briefly mention anything you find important for castmates (like they got their leg chopped off or hate the world and used to love it).
Character History: If your character is a fandom character, a brief explanation or wiki link will suffice. If your character is an original character, please provide a detailed enough history that will help us understand your character. Make it detailed, but we're not looking for their life story, so don't worry if it seems short.


Character Abilities or Weapons
Abilities: Does your character have magical, strange, or unique abilities? Please list them here!
Weapons: If your character is bringing weapons along, please list them here and give us some details about what they can do.
Extra: Does your character have something special about them we should know about? Some unique feature? Or do you have any additional comments or questions at all? Put that stuff here.


Character Personality
This should be in depth for all characters, not just original characters. We want to make sure you know your character inside and out, not just their history or past experiences. Be creative, in depth, and thorough. This is the most important part of the application, so make it strong!


Samples
You will need two samples of your threading ability: an action/communication thread or post and a log thread or post. Each sample can be from an external source if you wish.

Here are some guidelines:

• The sample must be recent, within the last month.
• The sample can be from another RP, a musebox, or even d_m, but please keep quality in mind. No crack threads for examples, please!
• The sample must be the character you are currently applying for - no AUs or altered versions allowed.
• You must link a specific thread, NOT A POST OR CHARACTER TAG. It is not up to us to find the most fitting thread for your character's voice, it is up to you. If you link a post or character tag in another RP, you will be given a revision notice to give us a new sample.

Action/communication sample: This sample is to show us that you know your character's voice, so take advantage of dialogue and/or actions!

If you are writing a new sample, just give an example of an action/communication post that you would create. If you are linking a thread, make sure it is at least 15 comments collectively in length.

Log/prose sample: Quality over quantity here; let us inside the head of your character, don't just narrate their actions. We want to see how they think and analyze things. Current members do not need to provide this sample past the first application.

If you are linking to an external prose thread, make sure it has at least one full reply from you, or you are the author of the post.
